Who you're dealing with
I'm Brant. I play Magic, and I buy collections around Utah. I started Flock Cards because getting rid of a collection usually means one of two things: listing hundreds of cards yourself, or walking into a shop and taking whatever they offer.
Here's how I land on a number. I look up what your cards are actually selling for, add it up, and keep a cut to cover what I'm on the hook for once I take them: marketplace fees, shipping, the hours of sorting and listing, and the chance a card slides before it sells. Nicer collections usually mean a smaller cut. If there's a lot, I'll show you the math.
Cards aren't meant to sit in a closet forever. When your collection's ready to leave the flock, I'll see it off right. No pressure, the offer's free, and if the number doesn't work for you, no hard feelings.

Ways to sell a Magic collection in Utah
There's no single right way to sell Magic cards. Here's the honest rundown so you can pick what fits — even if it isn't me.

Sites like TCGplayer or eBay get you the most per card on paper. The catch is the work: photographing and listing hundreds of cards, paying 10–15% in fees, and handling shipping, questions, and the odd return for months.

Take it to a local game store
Quick and nearby, but shops usually pay in store credit or a low cash buylist, and they cherry-pick the cards that fit their cases. The rest comes home with you.

Auction or consignment
Hands-off, but it's slow, the fees stack up, and you don't know the final number until it's all over.

Sell the whole collection to a local buyer (that's me)
One transaction, cash in hand, and no fees on your end. I sort, price, and handle the resale, and you get an offer usually by the next day. It's the simplest route when you'd rather just have it handled — including inherited and estate collections.

Depends what you're after. Listing online can net more per card, but it's months of photographing, listing, fees, and shipping. A game store is fast but usually pays store credit or a low buylist and cherry-picks. Selling the whole collection to me is one cash payment with no fees on your end — simplest when you'd rather just have it handled.
Can I sell an inherited or estate Magic collection?
Yep, I do this a lot. You don't need to know what any of it is or sort it first — send a rough idea and a few photos if you have them, and I'll figure out what it's worth and make you an offer.
How much will I get for my cards?
It depends on what's in there, but the math is simple: I total up what your cards are currently selling for and keep a cut to cover fees, shipping, and the time to resell. Bigger or higher-end collections usually mean a smaller cut, and for anything sizable I'll show you the breakdown.
Do I have to sort or look anything up first?
Nope. Hand it over however it is. Sorting and pricing is my job. If you've already organized it, great, but don't go out of your way.
What kind of cards do you want?
All of it. Old stuff, Commander cards, sealed boxes, foils, and big piles of bulk. Condition doesn't scare me off, so played and beat-up cards are fine too.
How do I actually get the cards to you?
If you're on the Wasatch Front we can meet up. Anywhere else in Utah, mail it in and I'll sort out a prepaid label for the bigger lots.
When do I get paid, and how?
Once I've gone through the cards and you're good with the offer, I pay right away by cash, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or check, whatever's easiest for you.
What if I don't like the offer?
Then we don't do a deal. The offer's free and there's no obligation either way.
